::: Curry Puff :::

Craving for curry puff @ karipap, so made this few days before but i am not really 'pro' on handmade pastry.. hehehe.. It's turn out good and delicious. That my appreciation for my self. :) The most important, my husband love it.. So let get cooking.

Ingredient

Pastry
400 gm all purpose flour
1/2 cup ice water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup oil- heat

Filling
1 sweet potato - add 1 potato. Medium size.
1/2 cup ground chicken
2 tbsp dry shrimp
2 tbsp curry powder
1 tsbs chili paste
Salt
2 small onion grind with curry leave

The picture and explaination :

1. Add butter  into flour by using finger and firmly press it. Then pour the heat oil and mix it with spoon.

2. Mix salt into the ice water and add little by little into the dough.

3. When the dough done, cover with Ziploc and leave it about an hour or two.

4. Can start to cooking the filling.

5. Fry the paste (grind onion, curry leave, shrimp paste) until golden brown and add curry powder. stir well.

6. Then, add chicken. Stir well.

7. Mix the sweet potato and potato. cook well then add green bean. Leave it for awhile.

8. The filling ready. Let it cool then can start rolling the puff pastry.

9. Bring like small ball and start to roll it into round shape. Then put the filling into it. Use my finger to design the shape.

10. Slow heat, fry the Curry puff until cook.. Do not use the medium heat or high heat otherwise it will be rare inside.




 DONE.. That its. Enjoy the delicious "karipap" for your evening tea.
